Fall Protection – Competent Person Training
Due to low registration, this course will be rescheduled in spring 2020
Did you know that falls are one of the leading causes of accidents in construction and general industry every year? Identifying fall hazards and deciding how best to protect workers is the first step in reducing or eliminating fall hazards. Any time a worker is at a height of four feet or more, or is working over dangerous equipment or machinery, the worker is at risk and needs to be protected. Understanding the solutions to keeping your workers safe is key to reducing these fatalities and injuries. Mr. George Stallings will briefly discuss the changes to the new “Walking Working Surface Standard” and show new technologies to solving your fall protection hazards in both General industry and Construction.
This 16 hour class will meet or exceed OSHA requirements for knowledge as a competent person for fall protection. It will be conducted in four sessions of 4-hours each. Each session will be after a morning chapter meeting or prior to an evening chapter meeting. A minimum number of participants is required to conduct the course.
The cost is only $500 per registration.
