PRESIDENT’S LETTER

Hello everyone!
I am Jamie, your current NOVA ASSP Chapter President. I have been on
the NOVA executive board since 2014 hiding behind the scenes
and now stepping forward as your elected President. I am very
familiar with Chapter operations and am excited to be in this role.

My focus for the next two years will be supporting Chapter
operations that connect members. Coming together as a
community is vital to illuminating meaningful and valuable
experiences that enhance our professional OSH skills. I
encourage you now, more than ever to, get involved and
connect. Share your experiences and learn from others in our
community.

Whether you would just like to attend meetings and network or,
have a willingness to volunteer, we welcome all involvement
that boosts the benefits of membership.

Here is a list of this year’s events so you can plan to attend: 2021-2022 Events. We have
a multitude of interesting topics for our virtual meetings and fun networking events for
which to cheers. I encourage everyone to join in, connect and share your story!
Sincerely,

Jamie Kohler, CSP, ARM
President, NOVA Chapter
American Society of Safety Professionals

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

We are always accepting job vacancy announcements to post and e-mail for
members. If you have or know of any, don’t hesitate to send us an e-mail.

One of the many benefits of being an ASSP member is the accessibility to
such a vast job board, network, and potential employers. Whether you are
actively or passively looking, make sure your membership settings allow for
e-mail correspondence. If not, you may never see that dream job.
