Speaker: Jerry E. Rivera, Director of Safety, Washington, DC National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
Abstract: Join us for a unique, hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom. This session will provide an inside look at the electrical apprenticeship program and showcase how the industry is preparing the next generation of professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the Electrical Safety Training Trailer, a state-of-the-art mobile classroom that brings real-world scenarios to life.
Along the way, you’ll gain insight into how the electrical industry is leveraging technology to advance workplace safety, from innovative training methods to tools and practices that help keep workers protected on the job. This interactive demonstration is designed to spark new ideas and highlight the future of electrical safety in action.
In-person attendance is limited to 25 persons because part of the meeting takes place in a mobile training unit that will be used for demonstration purposes. If you are not sure if you will attend, consider attending virtually to free up space for those who will attend.
