March 2023 Joint Meeting with WMCSA – Heat Stress – A Panel discussion on various Aspects of Managing it – NOTE THE CHANGE IN VENUE!

WMACSA is proud to invite you to an interactive discussion about how to manage heat stress.  Our speakers will detail various aspects of heat stress and then respond to questions posed to them and will be open to field questions from attendees.

The panelists slated for this discussion include:

• Medical – Issues seen in the field
• Vendor – Current technologies to help reduce the risk of heat stress
• IH – Different ways to calculate heat stress, the confusion, and how to do it simply.
• GC – Example of a heat stress program
• Sub-contractor – Example of a heat stress program

Please submit your questions by 3/1 for consideration to be posed to the panel.  You can just reply to this email to submit your questions.

Some examples of questions could be:

• What is the number one hurdle you see to overcome to increase awareness about heat stress on the job site?
• What are some hurdles in getting an effective heat stress program implemented?
• How do you manage emergency responses to heat related illnesses?
• How can we increase the awareness of the technology available, the need for a program, and being prepared for future regulations?
