Effective safety leadership is about more than policies and procedures it’s also about influencing behaviors, strengthening communication, and helping people make safer decisions.

About the Speaker

Allison Short, MS, CSP, CIT, WCP, is a Safety Management Consultant for MEMIC and co-host of the Illusion of Safety podcast. She holds a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology and is an affiliate instructor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Allison also serves as a ChapterWISE Co-Chair for the ASSP WISE Advisory Committee.
